Cancer groups, health and environment NGOs call for emergency EU glyphosate ban

A coalition of NGOs, including Bee Life, wrote to EU health commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis, calling for an emergency EU ban on glyphosate.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the World Health Organisation’s cancer agency, recently classified the pesticide glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans" (Class 2A).
